About Me

Those who don't know me often wonder where the nickname 'Dools' came from. It started in high school when I ran for class president. Someone I knew started calling me Dools, and it quickly caught on during my campaign with people chanting: "Don't be a fool, vote for Dools!" Since then, the name has stuck!

I'm an aspiring lawyer, women's empowerment activist, minority rights supporter, and a learning baker. I am currently completing my undergraduate education at the University of Connecticut.

I'm that college student that goes home almost every weekend. Not because I miss my mommy or my daddy, my pet, my bedroom, or my shower (well, partially my shower), but because I miss my oven, my Kitchenaid stand mixer, my baking pans and utensils, my decorating tips and bags, and most of all, a fully equipped (or any type for that matter) kitchen. Thus, every time I go home, I embark on a new baking adventure. Join me as I learn the do's and don'ts, highs and lows, and success and failures of the baking world!
